OECD tax director says worldwide crypto tax requirements are coming in 2021

Pascal Saint-Amans, the director of the OECD’s Centre for Tax Coverage and Administration, has asserted that the 37-nation group will introduce a typical reporting commonplace, or CRS, for crypto belongings in 2021.

In accordance with Law360, Amans acknowledged that the crypto tax commonplace “can be roughly equal to the CRS” developed by the Organisation for Financial Co-operation and Improvement to fight tax evasion.
